Las Alcobas Hotel - Mexico City

  • Description:

    • Alcoba means "alcove" in Spanish and it's this concept of creating private, tucked-away spaces that's behind Las Alcobas, a small Mexico City luxury hotel. Located in Polanco on Avenida Masaryk (the city's Rodeo Drive), Las Alcobas represents the design vision of Yabu Pushelberg who is also responsible for the interiors at St. Regis Mexico City. Here, at Las Alcobas, the firm works on an intimate scale presenting lobby spaces that are calm and luxurious. A stunning wooden staircase spirals up through the hotel.

The 35 guest rooms have been conceived with every possible amenity imaginable, from Sterns and Foster mattresses to three-way dressing room mirrors to rain showers in the marble bathrooms. Las Alcobas concentrates on personalizing customer service and each guest room is assigned its own private host.

Eat dinner in Polanco at the hotel's Dulce et Patria or Au Pied de Cochon.
