• Centrally located in a huge shopping centre, this restaurant has some very special characteristics. It is an open restaurant without evident walls, which allows its patrons to observe people walking around on the outside. In addition, it is designed in the style of an artist's café, with direct access to the El Péndulo bookshop which gives it a sort of intellectual lounge-type atmosphere. California cuisine is served here, with delicious sandwiches (try the lamb sandwich) and salads (the California Cobb is recommended). There is an interesting mural out front featuring some of Mexico's most famous intellectuals.
