Description:

  • When I was growing up in Mexico City, Bondy was a small restaurant that we went to when in the mood for Viennese coffee, a delicious pastry or food from the Old World. It was a dark and unattractive place that nevertheless could always count on it's loyal Europe-born clients.

In its current location it has thrived to become a trendy spot for breakfast and lunch. On weekends you may have to wait close to an hour for a table and although in my opinion no restaurant is worth this wait, try and go at off-hours and enjoy a dish of veal. It is generously served accompanied by potatoes that will make you feel like you are in one of Viena's finest restaurants.
