NileGuide Expert tip:
This restaurant is often used as a venue for classical concerts by some of Mexico's top musicians. Check with restaurant for dates.
Description:
- Located in an old mansion where great parties were once held and casino games were once played, this 95-year-old restaurant still has an air of magnificence thanks to the beauty of its architecture. Special events are still celebrated in elegant European-style halls and the restaurant continues to offer a delicious menu of traditional Spanish cuisine. In the true culinary tradition of that country, huge dishes come one after another; appetisers, followed by soup, two main dishes and a toothsome dessert to finish it off. This place is known for its Valencian Paella, the baked goat, and the Snails a la Bilbaina.

A touch of Spain
-
This is an elegant, well priced restaurant. It closes early in the day, right after "comida". The wine is good too, and well priced, and from Spain.
