• On the road from Mexico City to Toluca, in the midst of a dense coniferous forest, is one of the most romantic and charming restaurants in the country. In this cabin located on the bank of a small river, you can try regional specialties such as rabbit, cured meat, goat and trout, which you can catch yourself from the nearby pond. The menu is entirely composed of traditional Mexican food and there is also a selection of delicious hot drinks. The decor offers a piquant contrast to the menu, being reminiscent of an Austrian chalet, complete with its own chimney. There are mechanical games for small children and a collection of garden gnomes (!).
