• Young people seem to love this place as much for its great atmosphere as for its originality. Housed in a century old mansion, Ixchel is both a lounge/disco attempting to imitate some of the best trademarks from the New York lounge scene, and a rather sobering restaurant. The food is an interesting fusion of Asian and Italian with Mexican touches. Also the bar is incredibly well stocked with liquers and spirits from around the world. You don't need to be a member of this club to enjoy it, but you do need money, preferably lots of it. The service and attention to detail are of the highest quality here. The music is varied, although it tends towards the newer hits, and the lounge sounds.
