Description:

  • Created by the infamous Peruvian chef Gaston Acurio, La Mar brings together the most succesful ingredients from his South American homeland' seafood, a Japanese influence, and Peruvian cooking flair. The result is a smogarsboard of fresh ingredients, raw and immaculately prepared fish (try their entree sampler). Of note is the La Mar Tacu-Tacu a dish made of rice, re-fried beans with a generous serving of scallops, lightly fried on a wok and mixed with yellow chilies, and honey. Also worth trying is their tuna dishes and their traditional Peruvian desserts. The locale is unitone and sophisticated with dark woords and metallic fixtures. Their traditional drinks and cocktails are also fantastic.
