Description:
- Xochimilco has great historical value, since it was here that one of the seven founding tribes of Mexico established themselves. Today, it is an important tourist center. The new ecological section is also an important sports center. There are fields to play football, basketball and baseball as well as a cycling track within the 161 hectares of the park. You can jog along the lake, while taking in the beautiful spectacle of the "trajineras", small boats decorated with many flowers.
