• This shopping mall, which takes its name from its very own address, Moliere 222, sprung up around a branch of the Palacio de Hierro department stores, one of the leaders in their particular field. The shopping mall has an ultramodern pyramid shape design, with side gardens and an enormous fountain in front, and is highly popular among visitors as well as local residents. Besides visiting such exclusive traders as the well known Tiffany & Co., those who pass through Plaza Moliere can stop and eat at any of its restaurants, including La Calle de la Barraca Orraca or La Destilería , both offering contemporary Mexican food. Although it has only been open since the latter half of the 90's, the mall is now one of the busiest places in the Polanco district.
