Thete must be hotels but its not a nice area, depending on how long is your stay, i would advice something better but not that close

yes, there are but is not a nice zone; you can stay near at a holiday Inn (Viaducto Rio de la Piedad #260 Colonia Magdalena Mixiuhca, Aeropuerto - Sol Villa , México D.F., México.) you can also fine good hotels near the airport and it is not to far from the archivo general de la nación. if you come to mexico city you will enjoy everything.

Your best options are those hotels located @ Downtown (Centro), it's a ten minute taxi trip to Archivo General.
Even the Airport Area hotels could fit your needs.
