• In an area not particularly known for its good Chinese restaurants, Miss Yip Chinese Cafe is a notable exception. Although the decor is Cantonese teahouse gimmicky and the offerings don't come close to to those at top dim sum parlors found in the Chinatowns of San Francisco, New York City or Vancouver, the dishes are simple, straight-forward and classic. Its eclectic mix of patrons dine on a variety of Hong Kong-inspired dim sum ("small plates") as well as traditional stir-fries, noodle dishes, moo shu pork, and homemade soups.
