You'll pay a lot to stay here thanks to a $100-million renovation of all guest rooms, suites, golf courses, the spa, pool, fitness center, and beach club. The main attractions are two Raymond Floyd courses, available only to members and guests of the hotel, and Bourbon Steak, a restaurant by star chef Michael Mina. A new, seven-story Mediterranean-style wing is surrounded by tropical gardens that are joined by covered marble walkways. The Willow Stream Spa offers an unabridged menu of treatments. A location in the well-manicured residential and shopping area of Aventura appeals to those who want peace, quiet, and a great mall. The only drawback to this hotel is that you'll need to take a shuttle to the beach.
