Description:
Located on a quiet corner in the normally quiet Design District, Brosia is bringing some much-needed life to the area with its outstanding cuisine and spectacular setting. With a chef who schooled under the tutelage of Norman Van Aken's kitchen, Brosia isn't just another trendy bistro; the piri piri shrimp and the lamb skewers with tzaziki sauce are the way to start, continuing to the grilled pork tenderloin with caperberries, cornichons, and grain mustard, with a side of perfectly salted, skinny French fries and roasted garlic asparagus. Seriously out of this world. And it all goes down well with the restaurant's signature sangria -- in red or white -- we prefer the red, but either one will do. And then there's that courtyard, a serene, spectacular outdoor space with couches, tables, and mosaic tile underneath a large oak tree. There's something about Brosia that's very comforting but you may want to wear comfy pants before you go, because you'll definitely want to eat as much as you can here.
