What once used to be a snooty, haughtier-than-thou lounge/restaurant is now a welcoming restaurant/lounge, where the priority is excellent, fresh cuisine and not fresh doormen, who have thankfully been weeded out. Signature dishes include ginger lime-marinated grilled mahimahi, grass-fed grilled and smoked beef rib-eye and seared Szechuan pepper-crusted foie gras. The tiki-chic eatery surrounded by vines, bamboo, and cozy banquettes is all outdoors, so it's really weather permitting, but when it's nice out, it's a stunning departure from the rest of Miami's ultramodern restaurants. A soon-to-open indoor dining area and lounge will make this an all-season restaurant, but most importantly, the food's always in season and if you're hungry, you're more than welcome to indulge.
