Lou's Beer Garden

• Chef owner Luis Ramirez, or "Lou," has succeeded in creating a sleek and inviting alfresco and pool-side eatery. The food is tasty and portions are filling. The menu has old staples like pizza, buffalo wings and quesadillas, but it also introduces more interesting dishes like tripe crostini and some squid dishes that are a nice mixtures of flavors. Fresh herbs and spices are the secret, and all can be washed down with a selection of beers and wines. The thin crust pizzas are delicious, especially the spicy salami. Burgers are only offered well done, but are juicy, rest between toasted buns and served with Belgian style fries. The pulled pork sandwich is great as well. There are always new dishes on the menu according to availability of ingredients. Only drawback: they do not serve desserts!
