But beyond the dining, bar and party scene, there are, of course, other things to do in Miami. For tourists, this tropical and urbane city has a treasure trove of diversions to suit every taste and budget. These include basking on local beaches, teeing off at any number of golf courses, learning about the city's art deco history, exploring artistic offerings, taking in symphony, ballet and theater performances, getting close to nature, viewing wildlife and much more. There are no definitive "must do" activities here. It all depends on what you call fun. That said, here are a few recommendations to consider when planning your outings while in town.
