Public Question Asked by Casey about Miami
I plan on traveling to Miami January 13-19. I would really like to go to some places off the beaten path around Miami. I have access to a car, so I'd be willing to drive a little to see something unique or different. I also love to eat, so if anyone has any favorite restaurants or places that should not be missed I'd love to hear about them! Thanks!

Although it's an hours drive from south beach it's not quite off the beaten path as Everglades airboat tours are fun ...although it's mostly geared towards tourists but that's only because the locals have at one time or another been to the everglades. Only a suggestion if uve never been...as the Everglades are truly a gem of Florida
