- The food here is reason enough to make a visit, but for those who like a little education with their meal, from December to February you can watch what may become the very olive oil served with your meal made right before your eyes. The cold press is separated from the dining room by a plate glass window and watching olives undergo the hydraulic apotheosis into extra virgin oil is fascinating. The food is also good, with all the usual pasta favorites as well as Eggplant Parmigiana and some fish dishes that change according to the local catch. The service is homey, in keeping with the huge family crowd that this place attracts, and the portions are huge.
