• This place is a step above the old hole-in-the-wall sports bar. At night and on game days, the place is packed with sports fans. Minnesota Twins, Vikings and Gopher fans grab a table and cheer on their televised heroes. Since this bar sponsors a number of ball teams, players and fans frequent the joint after the games. During the day, many of the Twin Cities' struggling actors call it home. With the Children's Theatre Company and The Playwrights Center in the vicinity, many artisans spend off-hours conversing in the cozy booths. Beer, cocktails and soft drinks are available. Each seems to be a perfect accompaniment to the deep-fried appetizers, burger baskets and steak sandwiches.
