Description:

  • Appetizing, reasonably priced and full of surprises, Birchwood Cafe is an excellent place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The atmosphere has an old-fashioned "take a load off and sit a spell" feel about it. The menu is on a blackboard as you enter, then place your order at the counter. The menu consists of mostly vegetarian and organic fare. Soup, salads, sandwiches, pasta and pizza are the mainstays. Desserts are too good to pass up, so save room. Juices, soft drinks and coffee are served.
