Description:
- Take a walk into this whimsically painted cornerstone of East Street, and it should satisfy your craving for Bavaria. Erich, the owner and operator of The Black Forest Inn, still makes his own fresh bratwurst. All the German mainstays are here, from wiener schnitzel to hossenpfeiffer, Apple strudel to imported beer. Everything is hearty and filling. Come in the summer and enjoy the enclosed beer garden. Dining is available outside during regular dining room hours. Special events and festivities - especially Oktoberfest - are celebrated with a lot of fanfare and enthusiasm. Check website for more details.

Use to be a decent place, but

At one time this used to be a good German place. Maybe the recession hit tham hard. Service and quality is gone. I won't return until reviews improve

Great beer selection, okay eats

Lots of European beers to choose from here. Prices are average and so is the food. Cozy atmosphere and keep an eye out for the very large Avedon print on the wall. A signed original!
