  • The blues and jazz are as hot and sweet as the tangy ribs served up by Famous Dave's. Local blues bands are featured almost daily and national acts can be found on stage several nights a month. The sound of the EL train going over combined with the decor of exposed brick and signs depicting famous Chicago streets make you feel as if you are in one of the Windy City's famous clubs. The pork and beef ribs slathered with Dave's award-winning sauce are messy but a joy to devour by the plateful. Can't get enough? Take home a bucket of ribs for late night snacking. Other BBQ items and all the normal picnic side dishes are featured on the menu, including delicious cornbread muffins. Wash them down with cold brew or any of your favorite beverages.     Better Than It Should Be

  • Local BBQ place that has branched out to many locations. Many locations have the feel of a chain restaurant. The Linden Hills location is my favorite - it does not look like a restaurant...

  • Now mearly average. My diagnosis is that they have grown too fast and have truly become a "chain". Quality has suffered as has service. Average across the board

  • Excellent service/staff, quality of food, great blues haunt vibe, Location is nice with lots of cool business up and down Hennepin. Best of the 4 Famous Dave's we've experienced.
