- Highland Grill is a friendly, neighbourhood joint with flair. Find a spot in a booth or at the old-fashioned lunch counter. The menu boasts that everything is made from scratch, and after tasting the simple fare, you will swear it is just like mom used to make. Breakfasts are hearty and include French toast, stacks of cakes with fruit toppings, Eggs Benedict and combos with eggs, toast, hash browns, bacon and sausage. At lunch or dinner, huge salads are served with fresh bread and sweet potato fries. Soups go great with the juicy burgers, Cajun chicken melt, ginger chicken pesto pasta and salmon cakes. Finish it off with the apple crisp or chocolate raspberry tart.
