Canyonlands by Night

• Though not 'typical' nightlife, Canyonlands by Night is an exciting and informative evening experience, in an area where bars and nightclubs are few and far between. Starting with a Cowboy-style dinner on the banks of the Colorado River (such local favorites as BBQ Pork, Cow Poke Potatoes, Sweet Baked Beans, and Corn on the Cob), the tour moves on to the flat bottom Moab Queen II, a large river boat that can hold 144 people on board. From there, a knowledgeable guide points out sites of interest as the sun sets. Once it is dark, 40,000 watts of light illuminate the canyon around you, and the stories of Utah are told with music and narration. A cash bar is available during dinner.
