A small place like the Riverside Inn needs to pull out all the stops to compete with the chains, and it does so very nicely. Right on Main Street, this little motel offers the usual amenities: free continental breakfast, heated pool and hot tub, guest laundry, even picnic tables and a barbecue area. No coffeemaker in the rooms, but the do sport mini-fridges. In a nod to Moab's draw as a mountain biker's mecca, the motel also offers a bike room for secure storage. Located just about a mile and a half outside of Moab proper, this both gets you closer to the national parks as well as lowers the price.
