Get a fishing license if you plan to cast a line

    Description:

    • This fun place, ten miles south of Moab, is a revelation for most visitors. In fact, most don't even know it's there; this is more of a locals' hang out. What can you do at ken's Lake? Plenty. Boating, swimming, fishing, horseback riding, and hiking are all up for grabs at this BLM-governed recreation area.

31-site campground, RVs okay. Sites available first come, first served. Picnic tables, vault toilets. No drinking water. Directions: Head seven miles south of Moab on U.S. Highway 191. Turn left (east) and follow the signs approximately three miles to the lake.
