Hi Noah,
European restuarants at the cost commonly do not come cheap. However, on a moderate and affordable rate, we have Anniello's at the South Coast who specialises mainly on a wide range of Italian dishes. There's also Nomads, still at the south coast, who serve basically all meals of European culture. Hope this helps.

To Noah,
The best restaurants around north coast are Boko Boko (kikambala), Castle Royal(Mombasa town), Whitesands Beach Hotel. You can spice up your lunch with a little adventure at the south coast by doing a dhow safari then having lunch at one of the Wasini Island village restaurants.

WHATEVER THE ORIGIN, SHEHNAI RESTAURANT IS THE BEST AND MODERATELY PRICED. IT IS ON THE ISLAND AND INTHE CENTRE ACCECIBLE BY ALL MEANS OF TRANSPORT. TUK TUK HAS BECOME VERY COMMON AND EASY.
