Top 10:

Brand Name Hotels in Monterey

  • The Best of NileGuide
  • There's no reason why you should have to pay more to have a great stay in Monterey. These brand name hotels are all highly regarded by locals and visitors alike for their excellent accommodations and convenient location. In a tourist haven like Monterey, it pays for brand name hotels to offer the services and luxuries expected of the priciest stays at a reasonable price.

Americas Best Value Stage Coach Lodge offers the best quality for the most affordable price, and that's why it's the Number One pick. It's a quick taxi or cable car ride to Monterey's major attractions, including Fisherman's Wharf and Cannery Row.

Number 3, Best Western De Anza Inn, is also within easy traveling distance of the area's hot spots. They offer spacious rooms and an excellent value from a reliable brand name hotel. There are three Best Westerns in the area, and the De Anza Inn is the most positively reviewed of them all.

A surprise on this list is the Days Inn in Downtown Monterey. This brand name hotel doesn't get as much publicity as some of the other hotels in what truly is an over crowded market, but it has been satisfying customers for years without much fanfare. The Days Inn is fairly prices, quiet and comfortable. Can't ask for much more in a lodging.

The higher end brand name hotels-Marriott Monterey and Hilton Garden Inn Monterey-are great stays themselves, but not quite affordable enough to make it higher on the list. Any way you go, any of these Top 10 brand name hotels offers an excellent place to recharge for more traveling.
