Sure it's campy, but the Bubba Gump Shrimp Company is good family fun.

Dan's Drunken Shrimp, and specialty drinks like the Lava Flow and the Bayou Surprise, this shrimp restaurant in Cannery Row attracts tourists from all over, as well shrimp-lovin' locals. The place is usually packed and noisy, making for a great night out amidst the lights. The place has its own line of hats, shirts and other souvenirs. You will never find a wider variety of shrimp dishes anywhere else, and the service is excellent.

I think this restaurant is what the locals call a tourist trap. Pricey food in a themed restaurant with just average taste. The service was great and staff very friendly.

We had never eaten at a Gump, so we tried this one. We had shrimp and fish (I think it was cod). Considering the price, we were pleased with the service, the waitress, and the food....

Our food came out on time and was prepared just right. I would recommend this place to a hungry person the portions are huge! Service as ok but the food made up for it! I'd go here...
