• RV and tent camping at Laguna Seca Recreation Area is the ideal spot for folks wanting to camp in a clean and friendly environment with easy access to both the Monterey Peninsula and the Salinas Valley. In addition to great camping facilities, Laguna Seca Recreation Area has large group meeting facilities and picnic areas available for rent, as well as an Off-Highway Vehicle track and Rifle Pistol Range.

  RV camping at Laguna Seca Recreation Area is centrally located between Salinas and the Monterey Peninsula. There are 102 water and electrical (up to 30 amp) hookup sites. All the sites are black top pad suitable for cars, pickup campers and recreational vehicles. The sites can accommodate all types of camping equipment, except tents requiring stakes. Every site has a picnic table and fire pit. A sewer dump station is located at the park.

  Chaparral "B" Campground consists of 82 water and electrical hookup sites; provides some shading; and includes two bathrooms, one with hot showers.

  Can-Am Circle "C" Campground consists of 20 water and electrical hookup sites; provides some shading; and has a bathroom facility.

  Tent camping is centrally located between Salinas and the Monterey Peninsula. There are 70 no-hookup sites. The sites are semi-leveled, dirt pads suitable for tents requiring stakes, cars, pickup campers and recreational vehicles. There is some shading provided by surrounding oak trees, hot showers within walking distance, telephones, a playground, and newspaper stand.

  Grand Prix "A" Campground consists of 70 no-hookup sites. Each site is semi-leveled with dirt pads suitable for tents requiring stakes, cars, pickup campers and RVs. There is some shading, hot showers within walking distance, telephones, a playground, newspaper stand, and access to water. Every site has a picnic table and fire pit.

  Group picnicking consists of two large areas which can accommodate from 200 to 1,000 people, and includes a covered cooking area, extra large barbecue pits, double serving countertops, a prep area with a sink, restroom facilities, and access to electricity.

  Track View Picnic Area overlooks the Mazda Raceway at Laguna Seca and is ideal for weddings. This site also includes access to a refrigeration unit and an outdoor amphitheater.

  Island Picnic Area is near the racetrack in the lakebed area giving it the perfect water view of the surrounding lake area.

  Off-Highway Motocross Track at Laguna Seca Recreation Area offers the off-highway motocross enthusiast access to a motorcycle track for the intermediate motorcyclist. The track is one way, and signs are posted with arrows designating the flow of traffic. The track direction changes throughout the day. The motocross (MX) track contains jumps, irregular surfaces, and several turns within a 5/8-mile track.

  Laguna Seca Off-Highway Vehicle Area offers the off-highway vehicle enthusiast access to two motorcycle tracks for the advanced and beginner motorcyclist.

  The Laguna Seca Rifle & Pistol Range offers a safe shooting environment with a well-trained staff to assist you. All first time visitors to the Range facility must inform the staff when signing in. A copy of the Range rules to read, followed by a brief overview of the procedures will be provided before shooting. All shooters and spectators must sign a liability waiver located at the Range Office. Those under 18 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian sign the liability waiver for them. Children 6 and above are permitted to fire rifles. Children 14 years of age and above are permitted to fire handguns. All children must be supervised while firing or observing at the Range. Eye and ear protection are required.

  Just minutes away from downtown Monterey, Laguna Seca is located off of Monterey-Salinas Highway 68.
