Description:

  • Inside the Macroplaza, is this very tall sculpture which symbolizes, in some way, the commercial and industrial development of the region. It was built in 1984 by Luis Barragán, and it commemorates the 100th anniversary of the Chamber of Commerce of the city of Monterrey. With its 170 meters in height, it is considered the tallest monument in the country. On top, it has a green laser beam, which is used on special occasions to light up the Monterrey sky.
