Description:
This is the given name to a group of old houses located along several blocks behind the Metropolitan Cathedral, which have successfully survived the battle of time. They are protected by a decree issued in 1998, and have undergone much refurbishment. The old ones date back to the 17th century and belonged to the families that established themselves in this city. Others date back to the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. It is a real experience to walk along these stone-paved streets, with their street-lamps lighting the way. Most of these houses have become establishments such as restaurants, bars and museums.

The decor is a little excessive with stuffed animals on the walls and objects from this northern region.
