Monument National

Description:

  • This beautiful old theater was rescued from the brink of destruction by the National theater School; until the early 1970s it was largely neglected. Now the home of all NTS productions, this historic monument also plays host to dozens of other theater productions throughout the year. The Ludger-Duvernay theater, which seats over 800, is a classic 19th century hall with a balcony and orchestra pit; the Du Maurier Studio is an attractive multi-function hall seating as many as 150. The Café Hydro-Quebec offers pre or post-show drinks.
