    • In a landmark building dating from 1899 and fronted by a statue of Queen Victoria, this McGill University venue is in nearly constant use, especially during the school year with concerts and recitals by university students and professionals from the music faculty. Recordings of some concerts are available on the university's label, McGill Records. Concerts are also given in the campus's smaller Redpath Hall, 861 Sherbrooke St. ouest (tel. 514/398-4547).
