Description:
- Located not far from the colourful Atwater Market, this is an Old Montreal restaurant classic in the heart of Little Burgundy. An homage to Charles "Joe-Beef" McKiernan, 19th century innkeeper and Montreal working class hero, the restaurant serves steaks and seafood and prides itself on its fresh market products. Also included is an oyster-bar and a menu that changes every day. Last year, Liverpool House was named on EnRoute's top ten list of best new restaurants opened in Canada after food editor Chris Johns travelled across the country on tastings at new eateries. -Andrew Princz
