NileGuide Expert Says:
The Atwater market can easily be seen from far thanks to its stunning clock tower. Inside it is a paradise for fresh and organic food lovers.
Description:
This indoor-outdoor farmer's market west of Old Town is open daily. French in flavor, it features the freshest fruits, vegetables, and flowers, and has several boulangeries and fromageries, plus shops with every kind of easy-to-travel-with food under the sun. There are also specialty shops like Chocolats Geneviève Grandbois. You can walk there by heading down rue Notre Dame, where you'll pass Antiques Row (about 45 min.), or take the Métro to Lionel-Groulx.
