Brother André's Museum

  • Type: Museums
  • NileGuide Expert Says:

If you are not bothered by the function of the location, either of the cemeteries near the oratory are beautiful places to go for a picnic.

  • Description:

    • Saint Joseph's Oratory is on the Mount-Royal, and here you will find Brother André's Museum. Along with this museum, which contains a collection of artifacts from Brother André, one of the church's founders, there is the Oratory itself which is worthy of exploration, as well as the crypt. Near the oratory there are two cemeteries, Notre-Dame-des-Neiges and Mount-Royal, both the final resting places for some prominent historical figures in Montreal.
