Canadian Railway Museum at Delson

Description:

  • This nationally known railway museum showcases a quarter million artifacts, documents and other articles related to Canada's railway history. The real stars, however, are the 140 locomotives and other rolling stock, many of which are in working order. The CPR 144 is the oldest existing locomotive in the country, while The Rocket was Montreal's inaugural electric streetcar. Several trains and streetcars offer rides on a daily basis. The museum is best accessed from the Mercier Bridge, Highways 132 east and 209 south.
