- With a wonderful layout and immaculate course maintenance, the only conceivable knock against this popular course is the view. Located in the middle of an industrial park, the most prominent landmark is a flaming smokestack. Still, it's only 15 minutes from downtown and the 6600-yard par 72 course is a good test. For a quicker round, there is also a challenging and well-maintained par-three course, which is a true rarity. Be sure to ask for directions. Streets in the area are very difficult to navigate.
