Description:

Located one hour from Montreal in the Eastern Townships, the Granby Zoo is one of the most significant zoological gardens in Eastern Canada. It's home to over 1,000 animals that includes 200 exotic species housed in several locations. Children will delight in seeing the elephants, giraffes, gorillas, tigers and bats in the Africa, South America, Asia and Ocenia pavillions. The zoo also has 75 endangered or vulnerable species and there are presentations by zookeepers and educators about them. Enjoy the small rides park with jungle ball training camp, bumper cars, a Ferris wheel, and a small train. Next door is the Amazoo Yoplait Waterpark that includes a wave pool, lazy river for tubing, and water game basin.
