Description:
- The Montreal Tower Observatory offers one of the best panoramic views of Montreal. Take the 30-minute tour of the 1976 Olympic Site over the Sports Centreand take the 2-level glass funicular ride up the side of the tower to reach the observatory. With an elevation of 575 feet (175 meters), this is the highest inclined tower in the world. On a clear day you can see up to 50 miles (80 km) around the area as far as the Laurentian Mountains. The Biodome is close by as well as the Montreal Plantetarium and Botanical Gardens.
