I'm in Montreal for a wedding and we want to take bachelor out for fun night Friday Oct 2. Heard clubs are impossible to get into. Any suggestions?

Greetings Eddie - It is simply not true that clubs are impossible to get entrance to, but you have to know how to operate at the door properly, if you know what I mean. The doormen are the key front line people, so they should be treated as such. If you are having a special occasion for a bachelor, include the doorman in your festivities ($$$) and the doors to any club will open wide. Check out Chez Paree and SuperSexe strip clubs, as they are the classic Montreal bachelor experience here.

Happy Trails

Thanks. What's the expected rate per person at clubs you mention?

Hi Eddie, You ask about rates, I'm not really sure what you mean by rates, but if you are asking about strip clubs, tipping the door man gets you the best seats, and the coldest beers. Five dollars would be a good tip. If you are wanting to go to a street where there are so many beautiful women dressed in the latest fashions, that would be Cresent street. Believe me, there's not a street in Montreal with more action and a ten dollar tip to the doorman would get you into most of the clubs there.

Have a good stay.
