In the center of the city's port area, at a place called Jean Drapeau Park, you will find a man-made beach. It has many fun aspects for kids and it is worth your visit. You'll find it on Ile Notre-Dame, literally five minutes from downtown, and you can take a little ferry ride from the Old Port.

You could also drive a bit out of town to the Oka beach, which is a wonderful area, with a provincial park attached, canoeing, a ferry ride to the quaint village of Hudson, and more.
