  • Every night is vodka night at Moscow, after all you are vacationing at the home of this clear, crisp distilled beverage. And so a taste of Moscow's nightlife will not be complete without this drink. Housed at the Ararat Park Hyatt hotel, the Conservatory Lounge and Bar is the ideal venue to sip cocktails or beers during during the long summer afternoons. Thanks to its 10th floor location, you are sure to get mesmerized by the soul-stirring views of the city. For live music visit 16 Tons, one of the first clubs in Moscow. The bar brews its own beer, focusing on British-style ales and bitters. If you are looking for a pulsating dance floor then go to Solyanka, the city's first "elite indie" club. The club started under hush-hush operations and made a name for itself by bringing in international DJs to its monthly "Thriller" party series. The city's most popular high-end club is Rai, a Russian term for heaven. The ambiance is an interesting combination of Cirque du Soleil and Studio 54. Entrance to this opulent nightclub is nearly impossible unless you are on the "list". There are so many decadent things to do in Moscow at night, you won't believe this was once ground zero for the Communist movement.
