- With over a thousand pieces, this impressive collection of art from antiquity includes many original works and is still expanding as the museum continues to go on expeditions to the Northern Black Sea area. The excavations have centred around the ancient cities of Pantikapae, Phanagoria and Scithian Naples and the majority of the ceramics, jewellery, coins and other objets d'art on display have come from these regions.
