- On Easter Sunday, the stunning Church of the Ascension is host to a procession and special Easter service in honour of the Christian holy day. A visual feast in itself, the Church of the Ascension is famous for its 'tent roof' that looks like massive petals reaching 70 metres into the sky. Film fanatics will also recognise the church from Eisenstein's Ivan the Terrible.
