Description:
- This stadium was the largest of the Moscow venues built especially for the controversial 12th Olympic Games in 1980. The stadium seats a maximum of 35,000 spectators. The adjacent sports complex includes tennis courts, an ice rink, a gym and halls for gymnastics, shaping and choreography. Periodically, the stadium plays host to music concerts and a variety of different kinds of shows. During the day, the building plays host to an extensive book market.
