- The Banana Bar creates a nice ambiance with cane chairs and hanging bottle openers. Don't try too hard to figure out the banana connection though. Once you've paid the entry fee you can dance the night away at the large dance floor. Fridays, the Banana Bar has salsa night. If you think singing is more your thing or just want to empty the bar for friends, Thursdays are karaoke nights. There is good old retro along with hip-hop, rock and house music on the other weeknights. The place gets many good looking guys and girls and is also popular with thirty-somethings.
