Maratha Mandir was home to the Bollywood's famous romantic movie Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, which was shown at this theater for more than then ten years. The cinema hall here is a single screen theater, with comfy chairs and has a pre-independence air to it. But it's proximity to the business and residential district draws many to this theater, who find it convenient and affordable to watch a movie here compared to the up-scale multiplexes around. The theater does not accept credit cards.
