It is synonymous with great music and the huge tapestries hanging down from the rafters (spot Bono?) and DJ Roane's playlist reinforce the 'Rock' image. Funky memorabilia and a menu peppered with anecdotes keep you entertained till your mouth-watering steak gets served. Offering decidedly American cuisine, Hard Rock Mumbai arguably serves the best burgers in town. Suspended above the stretched bar is the performance area and not holding a good spot will assure you a neck cramp. Hard Rock Cafe doesn't take reservations, so while you wait for a table (especially on a Vayu night), browse the gift shop for classic HRC tees, baseball caps, pins, key chains and other trendy knick-knacks. If you'd like to avoid this Americana altogether, maybe the laid back Ghetto or the 'bang the head that doesn't headbang' type Toto's Garage will suit you better.
